Twelve viewpoints. One presence.
My role on this concert project was color grading. The 12-camera RED capture connects the scale of the stage with the closeness of the artist. The relationship between those shots is where multicamera experience matters.
Reading the image.
The blue stage setting gives Daniel's gesture room to breathe. Skin, microphone and the movement of a hand bring the eye back to the artist. That balance of scale and intimacy offers a way into concert color: feel the lighting while staying close to the performer.
